Revision as of 21:08, 9 July 2021
This chapter of Engineer-it is for learners in structural engineering at all stages of education and career.
An inital form of the chapter, mainly concerned with structural mechanics, was developed in 2020 - see Stempedia The Stempedia files will be converted to Mediawiki format.
A project to develop the chapter in the summer of 2021 is in progress.
The chapter is not yet for public use. Please do not make a link to it from another website.

Structural mechanics
The mathematical logic and procedures that predict the behaviour of structures when resisting applied loads. It is a type of predictive model used in the technical assessment of structures.
- Stuctural analysis - the use of structural mechanics to predict the behaviour of structural systems or sub-frames
- Strength and stiffness of materials
